On 2014 10^th of February to 13^th weifang the third Session of the 16th National People's Congress meeting was held in the center of the city culture and arts grand theatre.There are nearly 552 NPC delegates from all parts of the city came together to discuss the development of weifang.Weifang National People's Congress standing committee, group chairman, party secretary Xu Pengqiang attend the conference and sitting on the stage.

The conference's main agenda are: hearing and deliberating weifang people's government work report;Review and approval of weifang 2013 the implementation of the plan for national economic and social development report and plan in 2014;Review of weifang 2013 budget implementation situation report and the draft budget for 2014, approved the implementation of weifang municipal budget for 2013 reports and 2014 municipal budget;Weifang people's congress standing committee hearing and deliberating work reports;Weifang intermediate people's court hearing and deliberating work reports;Hearing and deliberating weifang report on the work of the people's procuratorate.
